I'm looking at buying a de-humidifier for my hearing aids. Any recommendations?

Second the recommendation for "Dry S Store". Purchased the Dry & Store Global II this week, works as advertised, not as pricey as the Professional model...available from this site's sponsor. Top right hand corner has a link

Dry 'n store times three. Though I've got the zephyr, which is even cheaper than the pro and the Global II (~$70). The only difference in this unit is that it doesn't have the "disinfecting" UV light.

I don't deny that UV light will disinfect something, my microbiology training knows better. I simply think that it is not required. I also didn't want to pay an extra $30-40 bucks for a tiny UV light.

I simply wipe my HA's off with a dry cloth and throw them in the Zephyr. The warmer than 37 degrees, dry air is enough to prevent the growth of microbes, which like a moist, body temperature home, at least those that you would encounter in your ear or on your skin.

Don't think it hurts to have the UV....but it doesn't hurt NOT to have it either, so why spend the cash to get it?

I have a very nice electronic hearing aid drying machine, but it is not a dry & store. In fact as I look at it it doesn't look like it has a name on it. Light, fan, warmer, etc. works great.
