Now there's an interesting question.
SSNHL is caused by permanent damage to the hair cells in the cochlea in humans. Some animals / birds / insects have the ability to regrow the hair cells over time. So it is possible for them to have a noise induced SSNHL - recover and have another. Most humans do not have this ability so once the hair cells are dead - they are gone.
Simple answer:
Animals - maybe/yes
Humans - unlikely - no
