Although I have moderate HL, I am still able to function almost normally in daily life. For the moment I am trying out digital HA and I must say I am not always pleased with wearing the aids considering the noisy environment we are living in. It is mostly at home that I ecounter problems with my HL when watching TV or listening to music as I have to set the volume too high.

It's not clear to me whether I should purchase digital HA or whether I could confine myself to assistive listening devices such as TV ears. Could someone help me out ?

That is always a tough decision, as many ALD's such as TV ears provide such a great quality alternative.

Yet, this is something you should discuss with the professional you are personally working with.
