I Purchased my TV ears for $149 from this website: www.localbattery.com
I might have mis-quoted the price earlier.

My patients have loved the TV Ears so far.
They work well and are simple to use.
I highly recommend them.
They are available at www.localbattery.com (http://localbattery.com/tvears.html)

I am really interested in a device that will let me hear the TV again. Don't watch it much anymore because I miss the dialogue .
I have been searching the net for any and all devices and the TV ears keep showing up and wondered if they really work!
Are there any other devices that would work better?

The TV Ears work very well for the price.
Many of my patients use it, even though they also have hearing aids, as it is hard to beat sound that enters directly into the ears versus from a distance.
We carry them online on our site at: www.localbattery.com (http://www.localbattery.com)

Are these any better than a good set of Sennheiser wireless headphones? I don't hear with the headphones all that well unless I put them over my hearing aids.

I've used TV Ears. They work very well as advertized. The dialogue on many TV shows is difficult to understand even with hearing aids. TV Ears does a good job at capturing the sound, though you lose the surround sound effect. My biggest problem with TV Ears is wearing the headset. I can't understand why the creator didn't design them like headphones that rest on top of your head. I don't wear TV Ears unless the program I want to watch has a serios sound problem and it's an excellent program.

I only need to have the headset resting on my lap with the loop around my neck when I watch TV and of course the sound is sent to my hearing aid via my T-coil position on the aid.
