Has anyone tried this product?? It has been advertized on the radio for a while, and now the ads are also on TV.

I am new to this forum and hoped someone would report on Quitteus?
Has no one tried it?

Is it a scam?

I read that few hearing aid brands are developing tinnitus mask technology within their aids. I am sure all other brands will enter this field soon.

Some products like these seem to help a few patients, but the majority do nothing at all. I have had 2 patients with this product and neither reported any relief.

Sometimes these products are worth a try because they rarely ever actually do any harm. Just be sure to read the active ingredients carefully and consult a doctor or pharmacist for any possible interactions with other meds you might be taking.

Well I think it's the same old story. Considering the number of people that suffer from Tinittus, if it really worked you wouldn't be asking about it here. You would already know the answer.

My tinnitus is so severe that it has led to insomnia. I just started using ReSound Live TS a few weeks ago with no grand expectations. It does provide some relief (but it is only temporary). When the hearing aids are out of my ears the tinnitus is as loud as ever. The TS masker sounds, to me, like a distant rain. I would rather hear that sound than the high-pitched squeal 24/7/365 days per year that my brain generates.Occasionally, I can hear both the masker and the ringing but it is usually because the hearing aid has popped out of my ear. If I push it back in and hold it for a few seconds the two sounds blend and I experience some relief. TS is not a cure but it does provide some relief. I recommend it. It is much better than the "You have tinnitus. Deal with it." mindset that some doctors continue to espouse. Of course, if they don't have tinnitus then it is hard for them to really empathize. They've been trained that the patient can simply choose not to focus on the sound and it will magically go away. I could choose not to focus on it when I was in my thirty's and it was milder. In my fourties it the sound grew much much louder to the point where I could no longer choose to not focus on it. I am also using Neuromonics during any situation where my ears could be negatively affected by external influences (road trips, large crowd chatter, crowded restaurants, loud talkers, loud machinery, etc.). I'm pleased with both products as relievers. I use them like tools to make it through a day. My tinnitus has not gotten any better or any worse as a result of using these devises.

I have had tinnitus for a number of years. I have to have a radio or something on while I sleep. During the day with background noise, it is not so bad. My hearing has deteriorated to the point that I have to wear hearing aids.

I called one of the ads for the Quietest product. They were advertising a free trial. The free trial consisted of purchasing a three month supply for over a hundred dollars. At the end of three months, if it didn't work, they would give you a refund. It was too much money for me to risk. If it was really as good as they advertise, they wouldn't require such a large up front investment.

I have had tinitis for years beaing a aircraft jet mechanic,I just dont focus on it.It bothers me at night but I have had it so long I have learned to ignor it.It is always there I just trained my brain to forget about it.background noise does help at times. Just dont make it the focus of your life, dont talk about it,dont wake up in the morning expecting it to go away.

Mech, I have lived in the phase of tinnitus that you are describing (for 18 years). I was confident that it would remain that way and I used to say the same thing that you are saying in your comment. During those years, I could ignore it. I hope that you can continue to maintain that level of tinnitus control. People experience tinnitus at different levels and frequencies. I don't believe that your experience is universally true for all tinnitus sufferers. There are people who suffer from tinnitus louder than yours. Ignoring it at that point could lead to debilitation.

Wise choice.

Before ordering, websearch "quietus complaints" and you will find many webpages listing complaints about Quietus. Many people have posted that the product does not have any beneficial effect whatsoever and that they were not able to obtain complete refunds as promised in the sales pitch. Some customers got no money back despite their best efforts. I see complaints that customers were pressured into ordering other products and services in addition to Quietus.

Many people also complain that Quietus does not disclose the ingredients in this product. I would suggest you should not ingest a product where the contents are "secret." The company will only say that the ingredients are all-natural. There are all-natural things that are quite toxic, including arsenic and mercury. I'm not saying Quietus contains these or other toxic ingredients. I'm saying you as the customer do not know what you are ingesting, and that is risky. No can assess your potential for allergic or drug interaction reactions to other medications you're taking when ingredients are unknown.

I do not recommend even a "free trial" of Quietus given these issues.

I didn't see any complaints about this specifically with Quietus in limited websearching, but it is very common with alternative medicine and other products advertised as having a "free" trial that require you to leave a credit card number that not only is it hard to get a refund if you're unhappy with the product, but some customers complain they keep getting new shipments and new bills month after month after month even after they've canceled. People count on their credit card companies to get them out of messes like this, but it can take many hours of extreme aggravation to get this stopped. Imagine what it's like to spend two tense hours dealing with this, making phone calls, writing letters, going to the post office one month, you think it's fixed, and then the next month you open your mailbox and you see that it isn't and you have to go through it all over again. Next month, again. I had to do this recently with charges fraudulently crammed onto phone bills, and believe me, it really does take a toll on you. It's best to avoid putting yourself in this potential situation if you can by just not dealing with companies that have high potential to engage in questionable business practices and can keep on billing your credit card even after you've said "NO!"

Well said Hamjour!

As much as I would like something to help my tinnitus, Quietus gave me a bad feeling on the phone. The sales lady was very aggressive. When I asked too many questions, she cut me off. I bailed before I had given her any information.
