...pick up what someone is saying when they have their back to you?
THAT is what we really need. HAs that can hear through the talkers head.:p
Sorry, couldn't resist asking as I have FM on my mind (may be trialing the SmartLink+ or ZoomLink+ - with iCom soon) and my cubby-mate was just talking to me with her back to me.

If you have the amigo T10 set in full directional it can provided you have that thing behing your head?
If your mate were wearing the transmitter, you could hear her in other rooms. The point of it, sort of, is that the transmitter is a remote microphone. FM signals go thru bodies, walls.

Oh, I know how well FMs work (I use an FM headphone at home for the TV...and listen to the show while taking out the trash, and the FM system at church ...and have heard the Mass while in the bathroom :p). That's why I'm considering spending $$$$ on a system.
I was really just kidding with my question. The person who's talking to you is not always going to have a transmitter close by. My cubby-mate had just arrived to work and was putting stuff in her desk as she was talking to me. I had to have her repeat herself a couple of times because she would start what she was saying facing me and then turn her head back to her desk drawer. I asked her if she was talking to me or to the desk.
