When the new digitial hearing aids usually come out for new model or brand? I am thinking to go back to analog hearing aids until new digital hearing aids come out from my audiologist's office. I really don't want to go back to analog or go another place. I am happy with the place and don't like to go another place to start over again. The digital hearing aids I have now is having problem off and on. It turns off the sound by itself and it bothering me. I like the sound and no feedback, but this problem I am having with this turn off sound. This is my second hearing aids doing this problem. I will ask my audiologist if there any other brands I can try that is digital.

What should I do?

Instead of reverting back to analog, try another brand, such as Sonic Innovaiton, Phonak or Oticon.

I wrote a little review about the different hearing aids at this link: www.hearingaidinformation.org (http://www.hearingaidinformation.org)

Definitely try some other brand before giving up!!!

Is the current digital you are trying an open fit hearing aid, one where there is a small over the ear instrument?

I have high pitch hearing loss and have been using the Sonic Ion for a while and have had great results.

They are consistent and sound very good. In fact, I often forget I have them on.

You may want to give it a try too.

When the new digital hearing aids come out to the market? Do they come out like the fall like when the new cars come out?

If I go back to analog for little while, I can wait for the new one to come out.

New models usually come out at the beginning of April of each year.

Audiologist's have an annual convetion and exposition every April and that is typically when the manufacturers come out with new models.

As stated by others, there are many great hearing aids out there, so it might be best to try other models and see how they work for you.

I decided to try the Widex Inteo Digital Hearing aids. I talked to my audiologist about my hearing aids problems from the Resound. She ordered the new hearing aids for me. She said this Widex is the best product in the market. I will try it to see if this one is any better than the other one.

Every audiologist and hearing aid dispenser has their favorites that they are used to using.

The Inteo certainly is one of the most high tech hearing aids out there. I personally don't use Widex, but I know that they have a solid reputation with alot of the audiologists I know.

Keep us updated of your progress!
