Are there any Baha users who also use an aid in the 'good' ear? If so - what is your hearing level in the 'good ear' unaided and more important how does this arrangement work for you? Are you reasonably satisfied?

I have been interested in trying it but have not gotten a chance yet.

People suffering with Single-Sided Deafness (SSD) can also be helped. SSD is usually a sensori-neural deafness where the inner ear doesn't work, for example as a result of previously necessary surgery or medical treatment, or perhaps due to congenital defect. The Baha sound processor is (as in conductively-deaf users) worn on the deaf side; it picks up sound on/from that side, and then the vibrations travel along the bone of the skull to the sole working inner ear (on the other side), thereby giving the user the ability to hear sounds from their deaf side but in their sole hearing ear.
