Hi Doc. I will be in the market soon for new aids and I see that you work a lot with Phonak. My hearing runs from 15 in the lower frequency to 110 in higher frequencies. I am currently wearing the Phonak Audeo Smart V which I got three years ago and use with earmolds. I also use the MyPilot and iCom. But my hearing has deteriorated since I got these and I want more capabilities--especially directional mics and speech in noise help. I have been thinking of getting the Naida Qs. Do you have any thoughts on these? Are they better than the Naida S, which I've seen people talk about in the forum? Of if you know of Widex aids that compare, I'd be willing to consider those as well. I am a minister and have situations where I need to hear in groups of people, classes, etc. Thanks!

hey docaudio i do not go for your name to get impress from you, you need to have time to give your suggestion/s to questions, yes i agreed no one care without money but i have seen even money can not be all in human life. i agreed too that there are so many here on this forum so it become difficult and this is a big shortcoming of this forum. but then after all even in this 6 billion world population we need friend, business, and true contentment (satisfaction).

would like your attention after reading a bit of whatever pks1981 wrote you.

Hi DocAudio, I have been following this forum for a while and your comments in several posts have been found useful. I am wondering if you could provide your valuable suggestions on choosing a hearing aid for me.I used to wear a old Siemens Analog on left ear, which broke recently. I have hearing loss in both ears, the left being slightly better than right, though I prefer to use only one hearing aid - in my left. After audiometry test (91db) in left, I was suggested a Widex Clear 220 hearing aid. I googled and found about some competing models, one of which is Oticon Chili SP7. Both SP7 and 220 are almost in same pricing range. I tried Clear 220 for an hour or something (trials outside audi office not allowed). It felt good. I am about to give SP7 trial next week. I normally want to hear speech better, in one to one as well as in meetings. I request you to please provide suggestions between these two models or any other model that you see fit. I am from India. Thanks in advance.
