Thread: Mini Blu Rcu

    Default Mini Blu Rcu

I got this control with my new Aquarius HA's. Love it!

    Question:

On my aids program #4 is for the mini tec and the TV transmitter works great. The manual states in this program the tec will search/cycle for
FM transmitter, Line-in, 1st. Xmitter, 2nd Xmitter, 3 party Bluetooth then T-Coil. in that order.

Does this come from the factory like this or does this have to be programmed? (I bought these from a "distant" vendor and will have to send them).

I just found out that one of the local churches here has a FM type Xmitter on the PA for the hearing impaired. Will this pick it up?

Still haven't hit a public loop yet, but wondering if this will pick it up also?

Changing the audio source (if connected)
Each time you press , your miniTek switches to the
next available audio source according to the following
    overview:
    FM transmitter (DAI)
    Line-in (2.5 mm stereo socket)
    First transmitter
    Second transmitter (optional)
    T-coil

that is the sequence that the miniTek looks for an audio source it is not programmed it just is. if your TVLink is working then you should be good.

I took my Mini Blu back to Costco for a refund today. The sound of the TV is abysmal and I much prefer just taking my HAs off and using a great pair of Sony studio-grade headphones instead. And I seldom have incoming calls on my cellphone, so having to hang that thing around my neck just to answer cell calls that never come in, along with every stupid alarm on my phone coming into the HAs... I don't need it. For $434, I'd rather have the money. Costco was great about taking it back.

whatever floats your boat.. mind sounds great with TV and mp3.. I had the minitek program adjusted with more bass and less treble, etc.. like you would a stereo receiver. btw, you don't need to hang the minitek around your need it works fine from a shirt pocket or arm of the chair. I'm retired and get no calls but it's handy in the car on the rare occasion I do.

The sound on mine is great through the TV. You can set what alarms on your cell phone so that you dont get those alarms.

Sounds to me like a personal choice and not an issue with the product.

Having a devil of a time with my office phone (still looking for a bluetooth alternative that is reasonable). I just transfer the office phone to the office cell phone and I can hear perfectly and hands free is just a plus.

What's the issue with the office phone? I use a Plantronics Voyager 510 base (bluetooth) to get office calls to my Resound Phone Clip bluetooth device.

Yep. For MY usage, and in MY opinion, I wouldn't give you 25 bucks for it. I'm glad I took it back.
