Thread: refit Starkley ITE

    My brother recently passed away after getting a new pair of Starkey ITE aids. I need to know if they can be refitted and reset for someone else. Thank You;simjack45

    They can certainly be reprogrammed by either a Starkey distributor or a third party repair center. I don't know about replacing the exterior shell. I'm guessing that it could be done

    It depends on the size of the new ear canal. It's possible that the circuitry won't fit into the new shell. Also, most manufacturers aren't keen on doing this type of work, so you'll need to use a repair shop.
