This is my USB Hi-Pro. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My Hi-Pro is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My Hi-Pro, without me, is useless. Without my Hi-Pro, I am useless.

I have Alta Pro (not Alta 1 Pro). What is the difference? I got these about 3 months ago. I was told mine were the latest.

The Alta 1 Pro contains a tinnitus masker. It's only available to the VA right now.

    pvc,
    I subscribed to this thread.
So, the Hi-Pro can program several brands and models?
I have a 2012 ASUS laptop running Win 8.1. It does have a serial port on the side. Of course USB is better...
I am confident that I will be wanting to DIY program as I get into this. "Patience, Glasshoppa...", OK...

I do not make my signature visible. The forum software makes signature information visible. You should seek a solution that includes professional support. I think you need that support. Have you looked at solutions offered at Costco?
