Default Furosemide [Lasix] as cause of hearing loss

I just read about this on a few medical sites; I am wondering if this could be what is happening to me. I have been taking this for a few years now.

Lasix is one of a few ototoxic diuretics although listed as "rarely significant".

Chlorthiazide is a diuretic that is generally considered safe.

I am NOT a medical doctor; but there are several articles written by medical doctors on this subject.

Hope this helps!

I started out with Chloro....., which is Dyazide, and I had an extreme allergy to it. Broke out on my skin and was nauseous. Stopped taking it and I was fine after 3 days. Oh, well.

I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Lasix) - pill24.org I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.

I work mostly with children, but Lasix can cause sensorineural hearing loss, especially when use with some IV antibiotics.
