Stem cell hope: Treatments verses trails
I am new to this forum and appologies for any redundancy or not getting the whole of what has been said. I got to this forum as I was doing my semi-annual check of recent news about stem cell research as I do each new year. I have been compelled to respond. These accounts are both exciting and frustrating as they offer promise and hope but look like a scam. A sheeps in wolves clothes or real treatements trails in none FDA restricted countries.
TRAILS, TREATMENTS or SCAMS Why do these facilities approach their results by leaking, so to speak, claims of success, instead of publishing in credible journals? Their efficacy and results should be more available for all to see and evaluate. Are they looking for money to continue good reseacrch on humans? Do they want volunteers for early experiemental trails but want to sell it as treatements? Or is it a money making scam? It appears these treatments are A SHOT IN THE "DAWN" ALBEIT MAYBE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION and yet based on real reseach. The e-mail sent by this organizations as listed in the forum sounds like they are saying it is very experimental: Trails of potential treaments that are simply long shots. Their laws and regulations are not like our FDA for better or worse medical tourism is taking a step in conducting trails on human volunteers for a substsantial fee. If that is what this is then why not spell it out? It is hopefully not outright misrepresentions and exploitations and not a scam but actual good and safe science or humans trails. It should not to be hard to get clarity on this, but yet the story is unfolding in a very dubiuous manner. I hope more comes out to clarify this point. If these are trails then people should go into it knowing what they are doing with transparentcy. Information: Advertisement and Science It is important to note that Chloe had a sudden hearing loss and these types of loss sometimes reverve themselves. Hearing can fluctual for individual for many reasons including infections. Her story is great but one cannot validate these treament on such little information and hear-say emperical stories of success. FDA may be one extreme being bogged down by protocols. These treatment facilities offering possible cures with claims getting internet press by "Parent Doctors" and based on their reputations has little credibility as it appear to be a marketing approach and is certainly not a scienctific approach. It may be a method of conducting trials while getting funding and keeping the claims about success in the news as a way to continue the funding. These personal accounts indirectly from these facilities looking for business is not science. If one had a medical breakthrough for hearing loss it will not take long for it to be known to the world like insulin or penicillin spread to worldwide use. Medical Tourism Going Global: SCAM verses SCIENCE Medical tourism is a big thing and is filled with scams and also credible faciltites. If a facility in the world was credible it could back up it's treaments through science and quality corroborative reports through journals and colleague corroboration. Scientist doctors I have spoken to at conferences and by e-mail in this country will embrase actual treatments that work. They have spend decades working on this and will be the first to jump on a credible treatements. My hopes are both frustrated and excited. It is frustrating to get these accounts of successful treatments with so little quality data. Why not take a more credible approach? It is very exciting to think of stem cell cures as a hearing treatments coming. I hope I live to see this for my child. I am hoping for more credible accounts to follow this news. Read my blog and youll learn the truth. Ive explained the facts many times. Yes stem cells for hearing loss is available today. No it's not a scam. Chloe and dozens of others got improvements. Ive spoke to the stem cell labs myself. I am planning to get stem cells soon.

My reasons for choosing stem cells over CI are numerous. Many thousands have gotten stem cells for all conditions with 90% success rate. I have emailed/contacted stem cell centers, read articles, did my research and know the facts. Chloe got such good results she can hear well without HAs! My hearing loss is the same in both ears. Recent audiogram: 125Hz=55db, 250Hz=70db, 500Hz=90db, 750Hz=110db, 1000Hz-8000Hz=NR at 110db. I discuss my deafness and stem cells in my blog

In case any readers possibly take this seriously...most overseas treatments like those mentioned here are most likely fraud. See your doctor here before you do anything stupid.
