Default Voice Dialing on Blackberry and Streamer, works well

I found out this week that the Voice Dialing on my Blackberry works great with the Streamer. About the only time I don't use the Streamer with my Blackberry is in noisy environments like loading docks and manufacturing facilities. Voice Dialing is faster than looking up somebody's phone number in Contacts.

Congrats! I always liked the way my Streamer worked with my Blackberry Pearl. (flawlessly)...

I fell for the siren song of the iPhone last year when the new model came out and went with that when it came time to renew my phone plan.. I like my iPhone, graphics and touch screen, but it does not work as reliably as the Blackberry did in terms of BT connection with the Streamer. Unfortunately the BB Storm did not give good coverage in my area or I would have gone with it.

Voice dialing also works well with a LG Dare.

Default flaky iPhone, Google phone is OK

I tried my personal cell phone which is an iPhone and the results were the same as yours. Apple is one my users and when I visited them I asked one of their engineers about the intermittent issue with the Streamer. We palyed with it for a bit and he said that it's an issue with the phone and Blue Tooth not the Streamer. My wife's Google phone seems to work OK with the Streamer as well as my Black Berry.

I agree. For a company that is so into music players, they are very late to the A2DP Bluetooth arena......
