It is important that babies get a hearing screening as soon as possible. Hmmm, too bad so many places have failed to couple up early testing with early intervention. Too many stories of "he failed the hearing test, bring him back in 6 months to fail another one then wait 6 months to see the specialist and in 2 years realise he's deaf then fail to do anything about it"
