Default Hearing loss risk with mp3 player swimming

Hello there!

I am paranoid about damaging my hearing wearing earphones listening to mp3 players.

I am a swimmer and want to listen to music whilst swimming for motivation.

I am considering the bone conduction technology version: the finis swim: /Finis-SwiMP3v2-D
Or an in the ear type: aquabeat:/Speedo-Aquabeat-1GB-Waterproof-l] - sorry couldn't post urls!

Of course, I intend to keep volume very low.
My question is which system do you think is better to use with less risk to damaging my hearing – the bone conduction which will not sit in my ears or the in the ear type?

Many thanks 

Gerry
