Untreated Hearing Loss Increases Chance of Falling

I just read this interesting article based on a new study on the effects of hearing loss.

The study showed that an untreated 25dB hearing loss results in three times the chance of having a fall.

With every 10dB of additional hearing loss, the odds go up 1.4 times.

The Johns Hopkins study took into account other health issues and pinpointed hearing loss as a primary factor.
