miniBLU RCU can't connect to phone

I have just upgraded to the Siemens 701 (Kirkland Premium Digital Device) from COSTCO and also obtained the miniBLU (REXTON) remote and blue tooth device. The technician programmed the devices.

PROBLEM: I paired the REXTON RCU with my SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE. The phone confirms this: "connected to phone and media audio". Also when someone calls, the phone (audio) indicates that the sound is redirected to the "HEADSET".

However, no sound is coming from the 701's when using phone bluetooth or audio.

I wonder if anyone has had such issues?

I'm using the Kirkland signature/Reston Onyx hearing aids and the same Mini BLU model but I have an I-Phone. Set up took 30 seconds. No issues.

I have done troubleshooting on the miniBlue RCU and conclude that the problem has to do with the remote itself and returned it for replacement to COSTCO. They also share my opinion. I will post the result when I get the replacement unit.

I have the larger RCU unit and it will occasionally mess up - mostly failing to transmit my voice. A reboot of both devices fixes this..

BTW, where did you find your info? I'd like to do a little research on another issue I am having...
