You get what you pay for. That's not a dry and store

See Pics Below.
You're paying too much. I'd suggest ditching the box entirely and buying a ziplock storage container and using the same desiccant inside it. That fancy "watertight" box is no different than the ziplock or glad plastic storage containers which cost about $15 less...

Hask is right...it's not even close to a dry-n-store...

for people with severe moisture issues the item you show will do very little to help them.

Can you site any research that demonstrates that the Dry and Store is superior to any other hearing aid dehumidification system? A lot of folks swear by it, but I have never seen anything that suggest that it works any better than a cheap $10 storage jar with silica beads. Just because it's the most expensive dehumidifier on the market doesn't necessarily mean it's the best. Gerald

I don't have any research...I will tell you that I only recommend it for my patients that have extreme moisture issues or very oily ears. I've seen it work wonders for those types of patients...most HA users do fine with nothing or some very simple dryer though...

I will add that prior to getting a Dry n Store I had a lot of problems with moisture primarily in my ear mold tubes but also in my HA that the storage jar with beads did little to solve the problem but once I bought the D&S I haven't had a problem since.

Let me clarify ! It was not my intent to make any comparison to my home made box with the commercial Dry & Store product. My subject line should have said Dry Box. My box makes dry air, thats all it does and that's all I expect from it. I am sure that the Dry & Store product is superior.

I put my hearing aids on my computer modem every night to dry out.

Default Online Hearing Aids & Accessories

I bought My Phonak HA's 5 years ago from hearingplanet.com.

They also have the Global Dry & Store for $99.99.
