Bluetooth headset to icom

I am getting a new icom. Can my wife wear a bluetooth headset and talk to me in the car through it? Does she have to run it through her phone?

I think she would have to call your phone from her phone, if your phone is connected to the iCom. There are also FM systems that do what you are talking about. I think Phonak makes something similar to the Resound solution, the mini-mic. But the FM system and mini-mic concepts are just one way, she talks and you listen. For two way with her bluetooth headset it would have to be in a phone call.
