@BigRedChief,

I agree 100%. I also purchased the Kirkland Signature 4.0 several months ago and couldn't be happier. I have been back to Costco at least 4-5 times since I purchased the aids for questions and/or adjustments - all at no charge. I have always gotten an appointment either the same day or within 2 days of my calling to request an appointment. During all visits to the Costco Hearing Aid Center I received extremely prompt and courteous service. Absolutely no complaints.

Buying from Costco instead of from another audiologist has turned out to be, at least for me, one of he best decisions I have made.

Thanks to forum testimonials such as these I made the decision some time ago that my next HAs would be from Costco. The only thing holding me back was I wanted to catch a newer model just after introduction. Looks like now may be the time!

the newer model may not be the "better" model for you.....as it only has different features not better performance..

Good luck!!!!

YMMV

I am a Costco "Audi" and have made a few posts on the forum and answered a few questions for people.

I would like to know If there are any suggestions or ideas for how we could improve our service? I do not speak for all Costco's and cannot answer for complaints. However I would like to hear suggestions.

Costco would be better able to serve me if they had a store in Central Virginia.

There are Sams Clubs in my area, but they do not have hearing aid departments either.

I am stuck with using more expensive alternatives for hearing aid purchase.

If the demographics in your area meet Costco's criteria they will eventually be in your area. In the SF Bay Area we have almost too many Costco's: 7 within a 10 mile radius of my house. You could call or email Costco corp. office and see if any are in the future for your area.

I've been to several places, including Costco, for hearing aids for profound hearing loss and it is hard to find one that works for me. I bought Kirkland premium, and will receive it soon, hope it will work. I notice that the software at Costco shows a long list of hearing aids and how well they match the audiogram. It seems that there are quite some hearing aids that theoretically match the loss, but the audio only suggests two hearing aids. Later I found form this forum that Costco carries Rexton Bridge, which may be a good match but the audio didn't mention. I was wondering how to find out a complete list of hearing aids that Costco provides, and how well they match my loss. Costco's website is way too simple. Will the audio be willing to print such a list (I never asked)? Is it possible to get the software and install on my own computer?

Not sure you have the right idea trying to "match".

If the aid has sufficient gain to match your loss it is likely to provide satisfaction.

The difference in brands with the same amplification (NDRC) is usually not very pronouced. Yes there are some small differences in sound quality but most of the most popular brands all use the same basic technology. The only brand to offer a basic, repeat basic, difference is one model of Bernafon. Ed

I think I am excited about getting a new hearing test with the upgraded Future firm wear to allow the test thru the future aids...

As a Costco Audi... please confirm for me that we might get a better aid programing by testing thru the aid.....

Also is there any reason that the costco audi would have disabled phone now in the future?/......

and... Please lobby with your buyers.. to allow all audis outside of costco that handle resound to be able to tweak and program the futures... I like costco.. I like the convenience of multiple stores.. BUT... whe traveling overseas I want the convenience of being able to go into any resound audi and have them work on my aids... It will take no business from costco... and resound could make it that costco aids could be adjusted by other audis but not the reverse...to help maintain the "other channel"...

I have a bleife that there is an advantage to going to three or 4 different costco audis for adjustments as each has there own "quirks" and style and between the multiple professionals I may get a better fit for the long run..

Costco Audi... thanks for any incite... thanks for any feedback and thoughts on the above..

YMMV

I don't think there is any possibility of them doing that. It certainly would take business from Costco. If you can get a followup adjustment at another office, that office may eventually sell you another hearing aid, or accessory. Costco has worked out a way to limit other people from adjusting some of their models. I'm sure other outlets would love to be able to do that if they could.
