Default Quality controlPhonak

Past 4 months...received 4 bad RIC aids from Phonak...quality control issue...you bet folks!

One "dead"
One with receiver out of aid and could not remove pin to correct the problem.
One clicking only in stereo zoom program
One stereo zoom loud from rear ..softer in front!

Two patients would never have noticed the problem being first timers.

I like the product but someone at Phonak needs a kick in the ass or be replaced ...maybe both. This is unacceptable folks. How many other thousands out there have this experience??????
How many providers out there actually listen to the aid before or during a fitting?

Funny. I just recently posted about my positive experience with Phonak customer service. Obvious difference is I'm an end user and not an audi like yourself so I would imagine you get to experience more from a variety of HA suppliers.

Thanks for the info...

Don't get me wrong though, I think Phonak sound quality is very good if not the best of several manufacturers...and easy to program/adjust.
I am meticulous about the qaulity of sound adn will continue to order the big P...but 4 aids with problems in 4 months is a serious matter that they need to fix and hopefully this and other forums will stir the pot so to speak and get a fire under the ass of mgt.
Think Oticon is very good too...all depends on the hearing loss, the person wearing it and the model..I am going to attach rather thread an article for all to read. May help explain the intracies of fittings.
