Technical failures in ReSound Plus?

Hello folks,

I hope you can help me. I am doing urgent research for a friend overseas regarding the GN ReSound Plus5 model. She will have a window of opportunity to replace her hearing aid, based on the information I find for her, which closes on Saturday. I have two questions: A personal experience question, and a resource question.

Has anyone experienced technical failures with the GN ReSound Plus5? Has any problem shown up in multiple units, or resurfaced in a replacement? I am also interested in other models of the "Plus" line, such as the Newtone Plus.

Is there a consumer review source for hearing aids where I can find information on the technical track record of various models? I don't need feature comparison (i.e., wind noise, programmable, etc.); I need information on tendency to breakdown, or show intermittent, on-again off-again function.

for your dollars get a ziga or a x-plorer both should be
far superior

other than that... no one publish tendecy of breakdown -----

i would stay away from the newtone plus.. for sure

This is your FIRST post and it seems VERY specific.

Are you in fact a product liability lawyer, or maybe some sort of industry researcher?

Or maybe you are looking for a valid reason to claim on your Plus5 warranty before it expires?
