Deaf patients struggling with health care

I recently read an article about deaf patients not receiving proper health care because they are struggling to communicate with doctors and healthcare professions. This has a lot to do with basic lack of hearing loss awareness. More should be done to create awareness on the plight of deaf and hard of hearing patients, especially in place like hospitals, police stations and even post offices.
