Anyone have an opinion if they are worth 80% more than the iCells?

I buy batteries at Costco or on eBay at somewhere between 23 and 34 cents a battery. Any batteries I've used all seemed to me to perform relatively the same. The Ray-o-vac's from my audie perform and last about the same as the no-names.

At an 80% premium, the batteries should jump from the packaging and change themselves, just before the low battery beeps go off.

I will add, though, that we should take every reasonable opportunity to support localbattery.com, the site sponsor.

They already have 13s. Scroll down their home page to the German-made 13s.

EDIT: Better yet, click here: http://www.localbattery.com/size13.html and scroll to the iCellTech 13s at 60 @ $19.90, or, around thirty-three cents each! That, plus free shipping. What else could we hope for?

I bought some Rayovacs to try and came to the same conclusion about their lives. A couple are still sitting on my desk, but they are showing no evidence of jumping up and running to the aids.

I have tried them, PowerOnes, iCellTech, Costco, and the ones that come with AmericaHears. I don't see a difference in any of them. I think I'll go with price (from Localbattery.com of course)

Default Rayovac Hearing Aid Batteries

I would be very interested to know what is happening with hearing aid services in Ireland. Obviously there has been MHAS in England and the equivalents in Scotland Wales and I guess Northern Ireland though I am a bit vague about that but havent heard any news from the South.

Is there access to DSP aids in the public sector? Are they available at the same prices as in the UK? Has there been a move to modernise protocols and patient journeys either from the centre, or by staff on the ground?
