Default Eardrum reflects noise?

I googled this but couldnt find anything. When i hear a sharp loud noise like when I clap, my eardrum reflects a wave sound. It almost feel like my eardrum moves or vibrates or something.

Anyone have this or know what it is?

Could be a number of things, but google tensor tympani syndrome and see if this fits
