Default Headaches

I use to suffer from headaches at least once a week, sometimes up to 3 times a week for no apparent cause. Since I've been wearing HA's for 1 month I have not had a single headache. Does anyone know if straining to hear could cause headaches? It could just be a coincidence, but it's got me thinking that all these years I've been straining to hear and maybe this is what has caused my headaches.

All I know is that the few times when my hearing aid has decided to be temperamental, I get a headache if I'm in a public situation and can't hear. If I'm home, it's fine because the H and kids know to be accessible for lip-reading. I always thought the headache was from the stress and effort of straining to comprehend and trying to figure out who to look at to lip-read.

Sounds like it could be stressed related but I'm no doctor.
