Hi,

I am new to the forum. My 4 year old daughter has been dialgnosed with heaing loss and has the following audiogram.

500Hz R-90 L-90
1000Hz R-95 L-95
2000Hz R-90 L-100
4000Hz R-95 L-110

Will hearing aids help? If yes, please let me know any recommendations for type and manufacturer.

What are her scores for the higher range on her audiogram. What are her speech comprehension scores. Does you daughter speak well. Is she able to pronounce words? Based on your audiogram she may get some help from aids, but they would have to be power aids. Something like Phonak Naida's. Nice thing about Phonak is that they have all these accessories that could further help her. She may also be a candidate for a cochlear implant. What you really need to do is take her to an ENT and get her evaluated. He could tell you a lot more about her situation, I am not an expert. There are options so try not to worry.

Since she's a child, maybe the Phonak Nios - but definitely she'll need power aids, probably with ear molds.

Range is borderline for Nios, probably better suited to the Naida Junior, but if the loss is not expected to be progressive then the Nios is an easier size for a small child to tolerate.

Hard to know with the limited information you provided, speech understanding plays a big role in the effectiveness of hearing aids. Not sure if you've considered a cochlear implant. Usually to qualify for implants you need to do some sort of trial with hearing aids anyways.
I would recommend a power aid for this loss, the Nios will not be enough. If you go with Phonak product, a Naida would be the way to go. All manufactures have some sort of power product though. You can see a few at Hearingaiddocs.com, take a look at the HAD-4-Kids section of the site and see some power products there.

Cheers

So young and so adaptable. I agree with Has12, get to an ENT specialist ASAP to truly know ALL your options. Ask around for pediatric ENT's and recommendations. We have several here that are truly great! My loss was discovered at age 5, over 50 years ago. Without good, quality care early on I'd not be able to function as I do today. The social, mental as well as physical aspects all work differently for a child and can drastically have bearing on her life's quality. Starting now can save her from loads and lots of ill-effects, peer pressures and chidings, and teen year insecurity issues. I look forward to seeing an update. Good luck~God bless.
